What are the check-in & check-out times?
Guests can check in from 2 PM onwards. Check-out time is at 10 AM. If you need to check in earlier or check out later, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Is there a deposit required to secure a booking?
Yes, to secure your booking, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable two months prior to arrival. If your booking is within the two months full payment is required. We accept payment by Credit / Debit cards, Paypal or bank transfer. If you need to cancel your booking, please see our cancellation policy for details on refunds.
Is there onsite parking available?
Yes, we have free onsite parking available for our guests next to the garage.
What are the accepted payment methods?
We accept payment by Credit / Debit cards, Paypal or bank transfer. If you choose to pay by bank transfer, please ensure that you include your booking reference number and the name under which the booking was made. If you have any questions about payment options, please contact us.
Is our log cabin heated?
Yes, our log cabin has a kerosine heater which must be kept on at all times during the winter months otherwise our pipes will freeze and the house will become inoperable. As it’s very costly to fix, your deposit will not be refunded if this occurs. You can adjust the temperature to your liking to ensure a comfortable night's sleep. We also have a log fire and firewood to get things extra comfy.
What is the cancellation policy?
We understand that plans can change, which is why we have a flexible cancellation policy.
If you need to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. We require 30 days’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to two night’s stay. Bank fees for refunds are at the tenants cost.
If you fail to show up for your booking without giving us notice, you will be charged the full amount of your booking. If you have any questions about our cancellation policy, please contact us.
Are we pet friendly?
Your pets are welcome. A maximum of two dogs allowed by enquiry only. Your is welcome anywhere in the house with the exception of the beds and sofas so please bring your doggy beds.
Breakage policy
A tenant is not responsible for normal fair wear and tear to the property or any chattels provided by the landlord when they use them normally. The tenant is responsible for any intentional or careless damage and will be charged fair costs to restore or replace.
